Tropic Feel Fresh Deodorant

A slightly different blog post this time from me.

I was asked to try out a Deodorant from Tropic, in return for a sweaty selfie!

I accepted the challenge but also thought I’d write a post about my experience of using said Tropic Deodorant.

Tropic was set up by Susie Ma after winning the Apprentice a few years ago. It’s all made with natural products and no chemicals involved what so ever. Yes the products may be more expensive than the supermarkets but you get what you pay for at end of day! And usually the more expensive products last longer.

As a woman with a physical disability where I use more energy & get more hot & sweaty as I do normal every day tasks like walking, I’ve struggled to find deodorants that actually last the whole day. I have found 2 of the major brands that work for me.

I have found brands like Dove etc just don’t last before I would have to re-apply them. Also there has been a lot about the chemicals used in the main deodorants you buy in supermarkets and a link to cancer, especially breast cancer. This is something close to my heart, after losing a close friend to breast cancer at the age of 33. My Aunt is having ongoing treatment for breast cancer and so is another close friend from school.

Anyhow…I received my package from Shelly – the packaging was minimal but lovely, and the deodorant comes in a tube. Yes I was slightly perplexed on how to apply it. But once I opened it up, my fears were put to rest. Only a small amount required.

My package from Shelly

It comes in a squeezy tube, and comes out very easily. It has a nice smell about it consisting of pink grapefruit and ginger grass. The scent lasts a long time and I was very impressed with the product.

I am a sports coach by day and travel between various sessions at different venues. I teach classes and go to the gym, and Tropic Deodorant survived all this as I put it through its paces. It was brilliant. So much so, that I didn’t have any BO afterwards!

I didn’t have any moments where I felt it had worn off or needed to apply more.

My only small criticism is I had to wait for it to dry, before putting my tops on, due to white marks underarm. As a disabled person I struggle with wiping them off. I have to take top off, wipe off the marks & put back on again! But on the days I wasn’t rushing to work, I waited for it to dry & no white marks.

Would I buy this product? Oh yes.

I only received it on Monday & have been using it all week. I’ve been really impressed. Now to see how long it lasts 😀
